What happened to George last week? Why did he call 911 over the stolen gas cans, but not when he smelled death in Casey’s car?

Dave, I loved this article. For the first time since all of this happened, I feel that George and Cindy will be able to get on with their life with alittle peace of mind. God bless them and I hope Lee and Mallory will be a big comfort to them. Dave will we ever know the truth about little Caylee? Baez has joined Casey fantasy world and there are no words for Mason.
Thanks, Margaret. I hope they all can move on, but I do not believe we or Caylee's family, other than Casey, will ever know how she died. It's a very strange course the defense has taken. Very strange.
Dave thanks for this excellent recalling of the weeks events..I M O Jose Baez will be ruthless with Cindy an expose every lie an misstruth she has ever uttered. He will do so with the blessing of Casey whom hates her Mother with a vengance....This will backfire on them both..The snarling hatefull at times Cindy we saw at the civil depositions will not re emerge dureing this trial.Any discrepinces an misstruths Baez flings in her face .Cindy will put down to emotional stress .An a desprate need to beleive in her Daughter that Caylee was still alive...The Jury has already heard Cindy detail the many many lies Casey told her..I M O The entire Anthony Family knew from day one or day 31 or 30 That Caylee was dead murdered at the hands of there Daughter....To many lies the Oh they had moved out to bond an no big deal everything was copacetic attatude reeks of not deneial but cover up.Not for Casey but for there own self image.Cindy threw Casey under the bus with the smells like a dead body in the damm car 911 call.Every thing else was just smoke an mirrors,The Anthonys are quite happy an releived Casey is in Jail an would be mortified at the thought of her getting out.M O O..........
I have always been sympathetic of Cindy and George until testimonies last week. What has been offered them either from the state or defense for their supposed complete turn on Casey yet from what I read they are still putting money in her expense account. Not all we read is true. However, we have witnessed Cindy and George standing up for Casey in every way until just before the trial started. I believe it is all an act to draw the jury away from the death penalty although JP can still give it to her as far as I understand. Let's say Cheney Mason does walk Casey out on his arm with an acquittal, what will she do on the outside, unless the whole family pick up and move away from Florida. Get a few tattoos to cover their identities, change their style and hair colors. Cindy may be thinking about a face lift, George too. Seriously, I am also in thought that Cindy and George may have come to believe Casey did murder Caylee in cold blood and are hoping to have her locked up forever, but in a mental institution. Would the state cover her expenses if she was. Anyhow, the way this trial has started, it all leans toward Casey's life with her family as having created mental instability. We saw her anger in the video when Cindy and George were on the phone with her when she was first jailed, we saw her anger last week also, after which she appeared quite calm. Just plain old PMS, also similar to ADHD. ADD behavior.
Sudden outbursts!
Hi Dave
thanks for this amazing article. This trial is just so wierd as Casey is! Glad to see that Cindy and Goerge gave a voice to little Caylee. Casey played with the fire and got burned, I guess she thought that she could manipulate her parents till the end but it is now otherwise. Her parents were in denial and they opened their eyes when Baez do not hesitate to throw George under the bus and the day Casey refuses to meet her mon on Monther's day. Last day I saw she was very upset with her mother after she was questionned by state.
have a nice day and eager to read your next article- Brgds
Dave,
i must say that as this trial was approaching i was a little worried on how the Anthony's would play this out. I was worried that George's infamous statement just a few months ago indicating he'd do anything to save his daughter or grand-daughter for that matter but when the defense outlined their defense it almost took me off guard, as i can imagine several people felt the same, but from what we've seen of the defense it really isnt that surprising.
Either way, the past several days I've watched as both George and Cindy have taken the stand and watch as their hollowed hearts spill-out as the re-tell the story that brought them there today. The incessive calls, or frantic calls may be best?, and the worrying compounded by frustration and i sit back and i feel my heart hurt for both George and Cindy. Up to this point i wasnt sure they'd be cooperative i honestly thought they'd be more combative. I must say that up to the time they took the stand my opinion of these two pretty much indicated that they had no intent on "Justice for Caylee" and watching them i now see it. I do hope as the days move slowly forward that Justice for Caylee is what not only what "we" want but what they want.
As a footnote however i must say that Baez is posted child for a monkey boinkin' a football...he, in my opinion only, has soiled his career and his reputation. The "defense" of Casey is laughable to be honest and no, i do not think molestation is a laughable crime but, again in my opinion only, Casey exhibits no signs or traits of being an abused child in the physical sense of the sexual sense. In my opinion i'd agree that she sought attention from her father, as most girls do with their dads, and perhaps she did not receive enough but that, in my opinion, explains her sexual escapades...the need for male attention...which she got and for that i dont think badly of her but to insinuate that her father molested her and her brother attempted speaks volumes of the excessive (insessive?) lies told over and over again.
Well this is just my 2 cents of what i've watched thus far. Great Job Dave as always!!
Although i just posted i wanted to at least comment on how the examination of Mr. Yuri. I know that the defense is trying to argue that Ms. Anthony is a habitual liar in trying to infer that her father and her brother molested her it is of my opinion that they have yet to prove anything other than she just lies so why would anyone believe she was molested. There is nothing that substantiates she was molested and as of now it seems to be a closed arguement. Either way, with Melich the Defense shows their true colors when even they point out the inadequacies of her statmenets to the Detective and asks why he didnt catch it and why allow the defendant to do a "re-statement" if he did not find her story believable? With over a week into this trial the Defense has been unable to propose reasonable doubt. But i refer back to my post up thread, she is a girl who, above all, sought attention from males...?
Hi, BMan - I'm going to write what I think about this mess. I have some ideas. There's no doubt in my mind that Casey is one messed up girl.
Casey happened to be well constructed, she never had to seek attention from males. Both her mother and father are very nice looking well built people, so she came by it naturally. That's not a crime.
Well, you have to understated that Baez is doing HIS JOB. Remember Dave, The attorney's go by what their client tells them. To say things like "What Baez accused them of" is totally unfair. Casey told him that, so he is going by what his client said. You shouldn't say things like that.
NO, I AM NOT SAYING WHAT CASEY DID WAS RIGHT, no, not at all, but did you also notice how Cindy was? very argumentative with Baez? When he had Casey stand up, Cindy even had to control again, by having her turn to the side. Did you see the look on the attorney's face? (defense female)
I really think that Cindy thought that Caylee was hers, and Casey lied about her job (remember she really was a shot girl manager, and the pics taken in the blue dress were actually pics of her at work. Regardless, she didn't look worried where Caylee was. Back to Cindy, I think Casey was afraid to tell her where she worked in dear that Cindy would say wasn't an appropriate job.
Regardless of what a liar Casey is, they George and Cindy shouldn't be so disrespectful to the man who is trying to save their daughters life. Just like George writing letters to Casey in jail telling her to watch her weight, WEIRD. Then saying, "your in control" then them letters asking why "Destroy Lee and Me"
We will never know the truth what happened to Caylee, but people need to understand that Baez is doing his job.
L@@king In: I do get the the Defense is doing their job by trying to introduce reasonable doubt however they are doing it at the expense of their client...The Prosecution is sticking with and maintaining what KC initially introduced as to the whereabouts of Caylee. What the defense has done has only given strength to the prosecution and they've painted their client in a horrible light. If they were intending on using the defense of "sexual abuse" you should not go into the insurmountable lies to defend her actions but go into how "anyone" sexually abused her and to substantiate the allegations. The Defense is not doing their job in protecting their client they are simply tightening the noose....JMO
What do you mean at the "expense of their client"? It;'s their job to believe what their client says and go with it. we haven't heard the defense yet, I just think before you say things like this, wait til the "defense" presents their case and after words if they don't present it, then I think the comments are appropriate. Please know, I am not supporting Casey, I just think that people need to understand that Baez is doing his job.
Question, If Casey is found "not guilty" on Murder 1 and manslaughter (ugh) how much time is she facing on the other charges when convicted. I say "when convicted" for obvious reasons on the lying charges. Also, TMZ said she owes all this money in taxes, is that from the money she made off the media to pay her attorney? has to be right? Could she or any one for that matter, get a tax break since it was used for "attorney" fees?

Thanks for the response. What i mean by the expense of their client is that they are foreseeably ruining any credibility of their client and relationship she had with her parents. The Defense presented their defense in the opening argument suggesting that KC acted the way she acts based upon allegations of molestation. Several other blog sites have related this to simply reasonable doubt which is and was the intent so that their client would have a chance of avoiding the DP i can see that but to infer that George or Lee sexually abused her as she was growing up is not only proposterous but to date unfounded and i base this opinion on the fact that the Defense more or less dropped the allegation once George denied and when Lee was on the stand no one brought it up.
I do agree with you in that the Defense is doing their job, in a sense, because the intent should be to pose reasonable doubt however all they've done thus far with everyone who has taken the stand is show that the friends/officers believed KC all the while the Defense is coming out saying she's a big fat liar...remember the Defense argued in their opening statement that KC acts the way she does because of abuse which is unfounded.
And one other issue the defense, IMO, has overlooked is how this all got started. As you've seen KC, after 31 days, was brought home without her daughter only to suggest to LE that her Nanny has her daughter. So, what you are witnessing is two trials essentially. One trial is based on allegations of molestation and the other is the baby-napped by the Nanny. It was this headline that brought my attention to this case 3 years ago and its been one hell of a story that's unfolded.
As to you most recent post; if KC does not get 1st degree she'll probably get 2nd which in Florida is a life sentence. Man-slaughter could've been argued if they could substantiate that she drowned but there is no evidence that Caylee drowned...but there is no evidence of how she died just that she is listed in the death certificate as a homocide but undetermined means.
The tax issue is exactly what you referred too, money she received from selling photos of Caylee to pay for her defense. My guess is that you were trying to be humous when you suggested that the IRS would give her a break on taxes but if you werent more than likely the IRS will place a lean on her estate (she doesnt have one that i'm aware of) but should she make money off of this story or the life of her daughter she'll owe the IRS before she receives anything and if there is no selling of a story she'll have to earn her $0.07 a day in jail to pay it off.
hey dave.. yes im still hanging on your every word lol.... i am a few days behind with the trial as with the hour differences and all that so it has been very late when i sign off .. meant to write and thank you much earlier in the trial for keeping me in the know ... im still in shock that the defense actually admitted that she knew caylee had died on the 16th .. but the way she died and trying to involve gerorge just blew my mind, never had too much sympathy for george and cindy other than the fact that this is their daughter and more importantly their grand-daughter but even i felt for george having to listen to the attack on him.. oh well.. back to catching up now .. take care dave and keep up the good work and fantastic writing ..xx cinta :).. just copied from orlando mag page just to be sure to be sure lol
