Election Day tomorrow and...

… Approximately 1,000 pages of documents in the Casey Anthony case will be released on Tuesday, according to the State Attorney’s Office. Some of the material dates back to 2008, and some is much more recent, a spokeswoman for State Attorney Lawson Lamar stated. All in all, this brings the total number of pages released so far to over 20,000.

More information to come tomorrow.

Although little or no NEW facts are likely to be released in tomorrow's doc dump, I am sure this will prompt more cries of "unfair" and "we need more time, it is overwhelming" from the defense. Even though they have themselves already had opportunity to review it all.

P.S. Everyone please go vote before reading any of it, ok? lol
P.P.S. Wow, 20,000 pages. The murder case I was a juror on had very few documents. In the deliberation room we had 1 bullet and one photo of the deceased.

I already voted Dave, before I went to Texas.

Over 20,000, that seems almost impossible but then we are talking about Casey. Not sure I will be able to read and of the documents tomorrow as I am on jury duty and if there is no trial then I will be helping with getting out my party's votes. IMO, I do not think there is a more important election.

I should have voted by now, which I usually do, but I just called the library and I have to go to my regular polling place tomorrow. You bet, I'm going to vote!

My guess about tomorrow's dump is that nothing important will come out. There's just not a lot more out there that's shocking or earth-shattering.

November 1, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

I will be voting at 6 a.m. in the morning. It is an exciting day tomorrow my oldest child will get to vote for the first time.

I wonder what new material we will get to see tomorrow? Maybe a finger print or two on the duct tape..... Probably not, I do not think they would release that. I am positive that would make it difficult to find a impartial jury. Thanks for the update.

Dave, thanks for reminding us to vote :)
I for one take the Priviledge of being able to vote very seriously, so does my whole family.
We will be there to give our Vote tomorrow, you can bet on it.
As for the Documents, I try not to get too excited about it, sometimes we really don't learn much new but who knows maybe it will be different this time. JMO

I will be sleeping at 6 am tomorrow, Tony, or at least I hope I will be. With the election AND the document dump, it's going to be one very long day.

No, no fingerprint on the duct tape. LDB told the judge there were no new surprises left.

November 1, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Oh, Hilde, you bet I'm going to vote, too. This is probably the most important mid-term election I've ever witnessed. I'm probably going to put a big VOTE at the top of the blog tomorrow. That's how important it is.

I don't think the new documents will tell us anything all that new, but it would be nice. I just don't think so.

Thanks.

November 1, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Hilde, I really laughed when I saw that you had thanked Dave for the reminder to vote. As if anyone could forget with all the adds LOL. As much as I dread the results, I am going to try and be positive.

November 1, 2010 | Registered CommenterPeggy222

I, for one, am really looking forward to voting and the results tomorrow. It never hurts to put a reminder out there, Dave just in case it slips anyone's mind. I don't anticipate anything of real importance in the document dump tomorrow, but I still enjoy looking at what they release.

November 1, 2010 | Registered CommenterMary Jo

I just put a big VOTE under my banner.

November 1, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Hi Dave - I love the banner! It looks just like the creek in front of my NC cabin but by the time I left the leaves were down and winter was setting in.
I am behind missing the last hearing but will catch up soon. I really do not expect much from this document dump. It is certainly much easier with a dead body and a bullet.
How "bout them Gators. The game was not for weak of heart. I couldn't believe our punter won the game for us since the field goal kicker was hurt. Them poodles are just gator bait.
I will vote tomorrow - just not at 6:00. I will wait for the morning workers to vote and then I will go.
Hope you are doing well.

DAVE YOUR THE MAN !!!!!!
And to think I dropped this question on you the other day. Thankyou for keeping us updated.
Is anyone allowed to attend next court hearing? I have thought of attending one to experience first hand the going on. I know I read november 29 the next hearing. Thankyou !

November 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSPYgIrL

Thanks, Nika1. I like the new Thanksgiving banner, too. It reminds me of growing up in rural NJ.

If you read my last post, you'll pretty much catch up with the last hearing. It's easier than sitting through 2 hours of video on WFTV.

That game was a real nail biter! I was holding my breath when he kicked that field goal. Whew! Talk about nerve wracking. GO GATORS!

I will vote tomorrow, but I don't know when. Probably early in the afternoon. I want to spend some time in the library before the kids get out of school.

I'm doing OK, thanks. I'm pretty tired today, but I'm doing fine. I hope you are, too. It's great to hear from you. It always is. We'll have to get together again. I really enjoyed it.

November 1, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Yes, SPYgIrL, and I didn't know that then. How 'bout that?

Anyone can attend a court hearing. If you plan on going, let me know and we can talk about it in an e-mail. Yes, it's Nov. 29 at 1:30.

DAVE, I SUBMITTED A COMMENT AND IT SAID NO ACESS. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND .

November 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMARCELLA

Marcella - You have an AOL IP address and you shouldn't have been blocked. Is this the same computer you were blocked from? Through AOL? I need to know exactly what happened because that number is not blocked.

EXTREME Search, Rescue and Recovery
I found this amusing :)

November 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSPYgIrL

That's amusing, alright. Thanks for the link. Tee hee.

The Giants won! Isn't anyone excited about it except me?

November 2, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterNew Puppy

DAVE, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? I DON'T GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFO TOANYONE. ESPECIALLY ON A BLOG. AS LONG AS A PERSON IS RESPECTFUL OF A BLOG OWNER AND THE OTHER POSTERS WHY SHOULD THEY BE BLOCKED. AFTER READING HERE AND OTHER PLACES I FELT THIS ONE WAS THE BEST ONE. I AM NOT INTO DAMMING THE ANTHONY'S TO HELL, AND I AM NOT INTO SILLINESS OR BEING MALICIOUS. IF YOU DO NOT WANT ME TO POST HERE THEN THAT IS UP TO YOU.

November 2, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMARCELLA

New Puppy! Hello! Congratulations to your San Francisco Giants. I knew they were the better team right from the start.

November 2, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Marcella - There are some people who are not welcome here and I have good reasons for that. I said I did not block you. You are free to comment here and I am free to block people I choose. You are not one of them. The system isn't foolproof. Meanwhile, are you aware that in the commenting world, using upper case is considered yelling?

November 2, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Marcella, if you have AOL like me, it sometimes happens that you get the screen no access. It has to do with AOL and nothing to do with Dave's site. I have had it happen to me fairly often and when I go to this site through Internet Explorer I don't have the no access problem. Please try coming to this site through IE.

Dear Dave, Voting IS important people die for that right in other countries and it hasnt been that long that women were allowed to vote. My family takes that priviledge very seriously. My grandmother was born in 1865 and when she was allowed to vote, she never missed and went over each candidate as carefully as she could. Hope you have a great day friend.

November 2, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermartha

Mary Jo, I don't know anything about this Marcella character, but I have never placed an AOL IP address in the filter because it would block out a ton of people. I will state right now I do not appreciate all caps when commenting. That's one of the rules of netiquette.

November 2, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Hi, Martha - Thank you for showing how important it is to vote. I wouldn't miss it for anything. I hope you have a great day, too!

November 2, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Dave, you are the CAPtain of this ship. Sorry couldn't resist. America cast your votes while I wait for the doc dump. To tell you the truth, I find caps very hard to read.

November 2, 2010 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Dave, I was just letting her know that it isn't anything that you did and that it is AOL that is causing the problem. It happens to me all the time. I hope she checks back here and reads this. I don't like to see caps either when trying to read a comment. There are a lot ofpeople that find reading caps hard on the eyes.

November 2, 2010 | Registered CommenterMary Jo

Mary Jo - I wasn't aware that AOL does that. So, chances are, it wasn't anything on my end, it was AOL. That's good to know. Thank you.

November 2, 2010 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

When are they going to dump the info? I think the Princess is slowly getting the message that she wont be able to lie her way out of this one. Hope everyone has a safe day. I cant believe that I raised a Democrat (daughter)--where did we go wrong as parents?--haha. She told me how she voted and I just said it's everyone's right to vote as they choose no matter how it hurts your mother--(that is what makes our country great.). Then we gave eachother hugs and both went on to work.

November 2, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermartha

Martha - I already put a new post up on the released documents. It's on the front page.
